How much does a private school in Poland actually cost?

In big Polish cities, monthly tuition at non-public schools typically runs from around 1,500 zł to 4,000+ zł; bilingual and international schools often go far higher. The advertised number is rarely the real number — entry fees, meals and extras add up. Here is how to compare honestly.

Two schools with the same tuition can differ by well over ten thousand złoty a year. Ask every school for the full list before comparing.

Entry fee (wpisowe) — one-off, often 1,000–5,000 zł, sometimes per child, sometimes non-refundable.
Meals, trips, camps, uniforms, materials — ask what is inside tuition and what arrives as extra invoices.
Summer months — some schools bill 12 months, some 10; the same tuition means different yearly totals.
Price indexation — check how much tuition rose in the last two years, because it will rise again.
